Our Story- How Southern Farm Catering Came To Be

From Our Table to Your Yours

At Southern Farm Catering, husband and wife owners Kirsten and Bill Christine believe that the best food is made fresh from scratch the way our mother's and grandmother's used to make it. Thus ensuring that every dish is bursting with flavor and nutrition.

 

Chef Bill has been perfecting his recipes for over two decades, and his passion for barbecue and Southern cuisine shines through in every bite. Bill completed his studies at The Culinary Institute of America in 2001 and opened his first restaurant a year later with Kirsten by his side. 

Bill's cooking has won countless awards over the years, including the Pennsylvania State BBQ Championship, Best Catering of Bucks County, and Mid Atlantic BBQ Champion; just to name a few.

The couple stopped participating in competitions a few years ago and their primary focus now is on their son, business, and giving back to the community. For example, they host an annual chef’s dinner  inspired by Anthony Bourdain, in which the proceeds are donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention - Greater Philadelphia Chapter.
